Days of being a Daddy

I had not been able to update my blog since Cedric was born. Being a Daddy is not easy, as expected. If you think I looked like a panda, you should see me now… still a panda.

Like every parents say, it is very tiring but well worth it. I will try to post up some pictures soon, so that you can see my reason of saying it.

Bo is on the road again

Mabel will be on a business trip for 2 weeks again. I am sure that she will be very tired, especially with a 22 weeks baby with her. There is really nothing that I can do to help her, but I can only hope that she knows how to relax a bit whenever possible.

The renovation of our new house is in progress. It is very interesting to shop for every little thing for our new house. From wooden floor, HDTV, sound system, and sofa, to toilets, sink, and toilet paper holder… there are just so many miscellaneous items. It is exhausting, yet very fun.

2008 is finally over. Stepping into 2009, I am hoping to see a happier year to come by.

So what happened in 2008? For me, Mabel and I officially moved back to HK for good. And it’s a whole new environment for us. It was not an easier decision for both of us.

Then in China, the earthquake was sure something huge to us. It was the worst nightmare for hundred thousands families in Sichuan. Only a coupe months after this horrified tragedy, the Olympic was held in Beijing and it was one of the most successful Olympic ever!
In Taiwan, Ma Ying-jeou was elected the new president of Taiwan. And Chen Shui-bian was arrested for bribery, money-laundering and embezzling government funds… finally. In Greece, the protest went on for weeks. In Middle East, Israel started war on Hamas in Gaza. In the United States, Obama was elected president of the United States. And the economy crashed badly every corner in the world…

It was not the happiest year for everyone, neither for me. I am really hoping for the best in 2009… a happy and healthy family.

Mabel is pregnant

After a careful examination of Mabel’s tummy, it’s not fat… Yeah, Mabel is officially pregnant.  She is not fat, nor big bone, just pregnant~  I guess it is the only time that a female is allowed to gain weight legally in Hong Kong.

2008-12-9 Announced

We plan to have another Taiwan trip next week. Mabel and I planned it for a long time already. But we had never thought that it would be a trip for all three of us.

 

I just called and tell Grandma about it. She seemed to be very happy and excited for us. I will have to call Mom about it today.

 

Now I am worry about our trip to Hawaii. Should we stay home because Mabel needs more rest?

 

I know what I need to do now… Open another blog account dedicated for him…

It’s been a wonderful weekend hanging out with the Wang’s in Taipei. HBO, food, whisky, Taiwan Beer, 小米酒, music, 炸雞排, 老天六, sleep; special thanks to Tom Cruise for Mission Impossible 2 and 3, and Tom Hanks for his 2+ hours of intensive battlefield action. It was a great get away for me and it felt so good to be able to hang out with my buddies. It was just like the good old days when I was in high school during the summer vacation.
